Schoolhouse Milky Way - Lower Fox Creek Schoolhouse at Tallgrass Prairie Preserve in Strong City, Kansas

When photographing the stars in the middle of the night in the Kansas Flint Hills I sometimes lose focus due to the amount of bugs surrounding me. Luckily this night wasn't as bad and I was able to blend a couple photos into one. The schoolhouse was taken in one photo to keep it in focus, along with some extra light and the other photo for the Milky Way stars in focus. The area around the schoolhouse is always well kept and it is a great visit any time of day or night at the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve in Strong City, Kansas.
